Accurate Detection of Multi-layer Packet Dropping Attacks in MANET| Chapter 7 | Research Highlights in Mathematics and Computer Science Vol. 3

Mobile Ad Hoc Networks grant permission experience significant convert overhead while trying to discover multi-layer packet drop attacks (MANET). The most of current efforts only take data small drops into account while discounting routing packet drops. Using travelling agents (MPDDMA), a method for exact detection of hateful multi-layer packet drop attacks is submitted in this paper. In this method, movable agents are installed in each bud to look for the hateful nodes' selective abandoning of data and routing packets. The beginning node identities the knots whose route request and route reply count significantly differs from possible choice by a margin. The source bud similarly perceives nodes whose packet taken count considerably varies from possible choice by a different border. Using these margin values and the MAC tier packet drop value as recommendation variables, the source before uses a fuzzy logic conclusion model, returning the output as the anticipation of malicious (PrM). The outcomes of the experiments display that the MPDDMA approach improves discovery accuracy and reduces packet deficits.

Research Developments and Review on Routing Methods for Energy in Mobile Networks | Chapter 4 | Current Overview on Science and Technology Research Vol. 6

A MANET is a category of mobile nodes that form networks independently without the aid of centralized management. Since such devices are battery-powered, extending battery life has become an important goal. We need to develop a performance-conscious and efficient protocol for MANET. Similarly, all nodes in a mobile ad-hoc network perform the task of routing setup networks between different mobile nodes. The "death" of some nodes due to exhaustion of performance values can end the disconnection of systems within the MANET. When a node moves out of radio range of another node, the connection between nodes is broken and another node is disconnected. This chapter describes different methods of routes and the different methods used for route selection in Manet applications.

Advanced Routing Methods for Efficient Energy Harvesting in Mobile Adhoc Networks| Book Publisher International

By utilising the routing metrics based on the routing table, the methods outlined are employed to decrease the amount of energy consumed. Here, the energy efficiency is calculated using the packet forwarding method. Because energy arrivals are unpredictable, the existing algorithms must be modified to route information data through the path of maximum energy nodes or through the fewest number of end transmission packets for communication systems that harvest energy. Networked systems allow for the regulation of transmission energy to maximise throughput, which internally explains the improvement in finite battery capacity storage. This is done by utilising knowledge of channel statuses and the temporal profile of energy arrivals. For dependable transmissions in MANET applications, comparative analysis of route minimization for the shortest efficient energy paths is analysed.

Study on Maximum Trusted Cluster Head Selection Algorithm for MANET | Chapter 10 | Recent Developments in Engineering Research Vol. 12

MANETs are self-organizing and self-configuring multi-hop wireless networks with adaptive re-configuration capabilities. The lack of infrastructure, limited bandwidth, dynamic nature, and unpredictable nature of link failure all have a negative impact on network services. Trust is an important consideration in the design and analysis of secure distribution systems. As a result, in this proposed study, trust-based security is chosen as a security strategy to strengthen the cluster head. As a result, a secure cluster head could be selected for each cluster, ensuring safe routing. To strengthen the chosen cluster head, a security approach known as the trust mechanism is proposed. It also discusses the draw backs of the re-election process and a new priority method is proposed which gives an alternative solution for the re-election process

Recent Study on Dynamic Multi Constraint Routing Based Efficient Data Transmission in Manet for Improved Sink Point Streaming | Chapter 12 | Recent Developments in Engineering Research Vol. 11

In today's internet world, the Mobile Adhoc network (Manet) has been recognized as a keen networking scenario. Access to most networking solutions has been made possible through mobile devices. The physical characteristics of mobile nodes continue to alter the network topology every second. The achievement of greater streaming performance, however, is most significant in terms of service quality. There are various methods to route data packets between the nodes of the source and sink/destination, but they suffer from poor performance. A dynamic multi constraint routing algorithm has been proposed in this paper to address the shortcoming. In route selection, the method considers various parameters such as capacity, lifetime, traffic, speed of mobility, direction and hop count. The multi constraint algorithm estimates the streaming support score (SSS) for any route for routing packets according to the above parameters. The algorithm has enhanced routing efficiency and increased Manet's streaming rate. The method calculates the streaming support score value for each route based on the measures estimated. A single route for forwarding the data packet has been selected based on the value of SSs. Higher throughput performance has been provided by the proposed DMR algorithm and reduces latency.
