In order to determine the incidence of insect pests in heat-tolerant country bean (IPSA Seem 2) fields, this study was carried out in the summer. From the early vegetative through the reproductive stages, insect predominance was noted. Bean pod borer, Maruca vitrata Gey (Crambidae: Lepidoptera); Cotton ballworm, Helicoverpa armigera Hub (Noctuidae: Lepidoptera); Leaf-eating caterpillar, Plusia oricalchea Fab (Noctuidae: Lepidoptera); Hairy caterpillar, Spilarctia obliqua Wal (Erebidae: Lepidoptera); Green semil , the leaf beetle Madurasia obscurella Jacoby (Chrysomelidae: Coleoptera), the hooded hopper Leptocentrus Taurus Fab (Membracidae: Hemiptera), the leaf weevil Blosyrus oniscus Oliv (Curculionidae: Coleoptera), and the leaf beetle Halyomorpha halys Stal (Pentatomidae: Hem At various stages of development, these insects were more or less common. On the other hand, country bean was hardly ever infested at any stage of growth.
