Determination of Second Order Polynomial Curve Fitting for Length- Weight Relationship of Cirrhina mrigala from Munj Sagar Talab Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, India | Chapter 6 | New Visions in Biological Science Vol. 7

The Cirrhina mrigala of the Munj Sagar talab Dhar was studied for its weight-length connection from November 2006 to October 2008. The useful length–weight relationship (LWR) of Cirrhina mrigala is 2.869. Statistical approaches like as correlation, smoothing of data, regression and cluster analysis, and polynomial curve fitting are important in predicting and planning the ecosystem. Using the Origin 6.0 software, many orders of polynomial fitting were tested among the different parameters in this investigation. The best fit for LWR was found to be a second order polynomial.
