The aim of this article
is to reach consensus among experts on the importance of parental involvement
in the effort to instil positive attitudes in preschool children, which
includes school-based involvement, home-based involvement, and contact between
the home and the school. The extent to which parents are involved in their
children's education at an early age is related to a lower incidence of
behavioural disorders and improved school readiness. The survey instrument,
which contained objects, was checked by 11 panel members or experts, and the
data was analysed using the Fuzzy Delphi technique prototype. There is
consensus, according to the report. Be it in school-based involvement, home-based
involvement, or contact between the home and the school, attitude is key.
Expert consensus on all 24 items in the dimensions of school-based
participation, home-based involvement, and contact between the home and the
school exceeded 75%, with 22 of them receiving the threshold reading (d) 0.2.
Following that, the objects were grouped by location based on the
defuzzification value, and the panel of experts suggested that some additional
items be included.
