Recent Study on Synthesis, Growth and Characterization of Tris Thiourea Zinc Magnesium Sulphate Single Crystals | Chapter 16 | Newest Updates in Physical Science Research Vol. 2

The slow evaporation solution growth method was used to synthesise and obtain single crystals of tris thiourea zinc magnesium sulphate from an acidic solution in this illustration. The lattice parameters and structure of the crystals were determined using single crystal X-ray diffraction. The surface morphology of the grown crystals is revealed by SEM analysis. The existence of the predicted functional groups is confirmed by FTIR and FT Raman studies. The crystal's absorption and transmission range indicates the crystal's lower cutoff wavelength of 230.4 nm. TG-DSC analysis verified the thermal stability of the TZME crystal. Vicker's micro hardness method was used to analyse the mechanical behaviour and strength of the crystals, and it showed that this crystal material has strong mechanical strength.
