Research on Development of Physics Learning Media Based on Self-Efficacy Use Mobile Augmented Reality for Senior High School | Chapter 11 | Newest Updates in Physical Science Research Vol. 3

The importance of self effectiveness in physics learning in high school (SMA) was discovered to be poor in one school. Self-efficacy was found to be at a rate of 48%. And this is confirmed by OECD data (3), which shows that more than 55 percent of Indonesian students rate below level 2 out of 5 levels in science. The development of self-efficacy media for studying physics and astronomy is an attempt to boost students' self-confidence. Media self-efficacy is generated using smartphone augmented reality, which is thought to be capable of providing students with a better learning environment in order to enhance their learning ability and therefore their self-efficacy. To boost self-efficacy, this media must be backed up by teacher help as a motivator for students, so that the outcomes are even better. This study may be a viable alternative to coping with the issue of students' low self-efficacy.
