Research on Requirements of Facing Change Resistance in Damietta University from Its Faculty Members’ Points of View | Chapter 6 | New Horizons in Education and Social Studies Vol. 9

This study sought to examine the phenomenon of Change Resistance at Damietta University from the perspectives of its faculty members, as well as the challenges that this phenomenon presents. The study also looked at the idea of change resistance and its manifestations, as well as the different forms of change resistance at Damietta University and the proposed strategy for dealing with it. The study then came to a conclusion about successful mechanisms for promoting the acceptance of change at Damietta University. A specialised field study was used to examine the reality of change resistance in Damietta University. Shift resistance is the most common finding in the field research. Because of many factors that are perceived to be significant barriers to change acceptance, faculty members are a prominent aspect. In light of the field study findings, the current study proposed a vision of change resistance requirements to support the trend toward growth and change among Damietta University faculty members. It also looked at the main causes of this opposition, as well as the reasons for believing in the power of this anti-change trend.
