Application of Natural Polymers as Excipients in Dosage Forms | Chapter 8 | Novel Aspects on Pharmaceutical Research Vol. 8

The review focuses on the polymers of unrefined origin and their win importance. Natural polymers, which maybe found in two together woody and non-woodlike plant components such as bark, sources, sap, roots, rhizomes, products, leaves, and plant gums, are typically polymeric polysaccharides. Natural polymers are widely utilised, have less adverse effects, are referring to practices or policies that do not negatively affect the environment, increase bioavailability, are inexpensive, are effortlessly available, and maybe used in a variety of portion of drug or other consumable forms. The paper focuses on an overview of everyday polymers, their characteristics, synthetic components, and applications as excipients in portion of drug or other consumable forms. Natural polymers have also significance in controlled and sustained release studies. The non injurious nature of these everyday products is favorable and classified and mentioned.
