A Comparative Study of Perfectionism, Cognitive Mindset, Constructive Thinking, and Emotional Intelligence among Gifted Students According to Grade and Gender | Chapter 7 | Research Highlights in Language, Literature and Education Vol. 8

The study proposed to compare the differences with gifted undergraduates of different grades and genders concerning nitpicking, cognitive psychology, constructive thinking, and emotional acumen.This study adopted the case survey design.A total of 908 gifted children in grades three through six holding 549 boys and 359 daughters selected randomly from twenty-five public simple schools in thirteen cities in Taiwan were chosen for the study.The t-test and analysis of variance processes were used in the study to check the data from the four scales.The study found four decisions.Firstly, on some nitpicking subscales, gifted students of various grades and genders performed completely differently.Second, there were apparent variations 'tween grades in the cognitive mindset of irregular students.Thirdly, skilled was a significant difference 'tween gifted pupils indifferent grades in the distrust-of-others subscale of the constructive-thinking scale.Finally, skilled was a substantial dissimilarity in introversion, interpersonal connections, and mood with gifted students of various genders.The study suggested that intelligent educators need to be concerned about the fear of mistakes, politically described nitpicking, other-oriented nitpicking, highly detracting thinking, a fixed mindset, mistrusting remainder of something, and interpersonal friendships of gifted pupils of different grades or genders and supply suitable conference.
