An Insight into Tooth Wear in Elderly: A Literature Review | Chapter 11 | Current Progress in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 9

The aim of the review search out present the importance of eyetooth wear, etiology and its administration in elderly subjects. Today dental erosion is widely considered expected a major cause of molar wear. The success of rehabilitation of cuspid wear in elderly depends upon judgment the etiology, correct disease, prevention method and allure management. Recognition of early signs of fang wear could bring about appropriate prevention and enhance life span of dentition in elderly and successful administration of different strengths of tooth wear requires early disease of the problem and an understanding of the various treatment strategies and methods available.
