This study proposed to investigate the potential of sodium gluconate, a adjustable biomolecule, as an efficient and recyclable organocatalyst for synthesizing dihydropyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole products. This eco-friendly pact utilized a consolidation of aryl aldehyde, malononitrile, ethyl acetoacetate, and hydrazine hydrate in water. The use of sodium gluconate offered several benefits, including non-toxicity, smooth separation, reusability, broad substrate opportunity, simple work-up, and high device yield, thereby emphasize its greener attributes.
