Reporting of Adverse Drug Reaction by Pharmacist in Pharmacovigilance Programme of India: Perspective | Chapter 8 | Current Overview on Pharmaceutical Science Vol. 7

 This division aims to analyze the newsgathering by pharmacist in Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI). The druggist serves as a crucial point of contact 'tween patients and healthcare specialists. They supply medicines similarly a prescription or, when constitutionally permitted, peddle them buyable without a prescription. Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) submitted by pharmacists instinctively to the NCC-PvPI were extracted from the computerized data in system of July 2011 to December 2014. This chapter resolved these reports for patients Sex, Age and Seriousness of the responses, etc. The pharmacist can help the development of an persuasive Pharmacovigilance system not only in India, but about the world.
