Here, I discuss early universe inflationary models that take either a scalar field or a tachyon field into account. Here, the method developed by Zhuravlev and Chervon to create inflationary cosmological models free of scalar field potential constraints is used. The inflationary solution reached here with tachyon field does not depend on its potential, similar to scalar field. Inflation with tachyons is obtained for a small subset of the field's initial domains, unlike scalar fields. I offer potentials that result in inflation in both the scalar and tachyon fields. It is discovered that the tachyonic potential, unlike the scalar field potential, is irregular at all values of the field.
