Analysis of NLFM Signals against the Doppler Effect and Background Noise| Chapter 1 | Techniques and Innovation in Engineering Research Vol. 2

The study compares the Doppler effect and background noise to Nonlinear Frequency Modulated (NLFM)waveforms created using three-stage piecewise linear and two-stage piecewise linear and nonlinear functions. Various target speeds are used in simulations to examine the Doppler effect. For the investigation of background noise, additive White Gaussian noise is taken into account. In the current investigation, the NLFM developed utilising two piecewise linear frequency modulation outperformed other generated waveforms.
