Finding out how platelet-rich plasma (PRP) affects a partial anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear is the aim of this study. One of the most frequent ligamentous knee injuries is ACL damage. A partial ACL injury was the subject of a randomised controlled experiment on athletes who visited the Department of Sports Medicine at RIMS, Imphal. PRP injection combined with therapy (n = 24) and rehabilitation alone (n = 24) groups were randomly assigned to patients with MRI-diagnosed partial ACL tears (N = 48). The baseline characteristics had little statistical significance. At the end of the first month, there were statistically significant improvements in the mean difference of the IKDC score (.001), Lysholm score (.001), and VAS (.007). There were statistically significant improvements in both the mean difference of the IKDC score (.001), Lysholm score (.026), and VAS at the conclusion of the fourth month (.001). Improvement in the mean difference of the IKDC score, Lysholm score, and VAS were seen at the end of the eighth and twelfth months, however this improvement was not statistically significant. ACL partial tear treatment options include conservative rehabilitation programmes and PRP injections administered under ultrasound monitoring.
