Calculation of Deflagration Initiation and Transition to Detonation in Hydrogen-Air Mixes | Chapter 2 | Progress in Chemical Science Research Vol. 4

It was looked at how the hydrogen-air mixture reaction induces the transition from one radical to the other. Deflagration characteristics of hydrogen-air mixtures Radicals H, and develop throughout this induction phase. Even still, the number of radicals remains low, and one radical component opposes the others. After a protracted period of induction, the ration appears as a rapid explosion. On the basis of theory-based branching chain reactions, an algorithm was created for the numerical simulation of hydrogen-air mixtures. The supplied calculations show how the developed algorithm may be used for numerical simulations of the first stage of deflagration of hydrogen-air mixtures.
