This investigation aims to evaluate the efficiency and security of intralesional vitamin D3 in warts. 88 patients with resistant warts of varying sizes and duration participated in the study. 0.2 to 0.5 mL of a vitamin D3 solution (600,000 IU, 15 mg/mL) were injected into the wart's base. At 3-week intervals, up to 5 warts might be injected every session until they disappeared, which could take up to 4 treatments. Patients were followed up on for six months following the last injection in an effort to detect any recurrence. In rare instances, warts have been successfully treated with topical vitamin D. The trial was completed by 88 subjects.
