An Assessment of Leadership Styles and Personality Characteristics of the Leaders| Chapter 1 | Current Research in Language, Literature and Education Vol.8

 There are articulations saying 'The school is the head, and the chief is the school'; 'The ensemble is the director, and the director is the ensemble'; and 'When two elephants battle, what endures is the grass'. What do we grasp by these articulations? It is profoundly lamented that there are a few forerunners in South Africa who don't have the constitution booklet of South Africa and are curious about its items. This is mind blowing, yet a reality. A portion of these pioneers, their specialty of talking is inadmissible. They can express anything whenever to their subordinates. A portion of these pioneers like exposure, need to be seen and to be loved. These pioneers can't separate among authority and possession. Some have kicked the bucket, long covered and some are as yet battling to pass on in view of their own precursors. This study looks to decipher the unjustifiable work practice embraced by certain forerunners in both private and public areas, by evaluating chosen authority styles and character attributes of the pioneers. The inquiries raised for this study are: 1) Is the exceptional job of precursors essentially defensive, restorative and pointed toward offering guidance to their living wards? 2) are these pioneers destined to be pioneers? 3) are these pioneers prepared to be pioneers? or on the other hand 4) are these pioneers made to be pioneers? furthermore, 5) What is the power and meaning of predecessors in African practices? The essential sources incorporate oral meetings that were directed through eye to eye cooperation. The meetings were pointed toward evoking direct data on the information on the topic. The auxiliary sources included among others, materials, for example, Journal articles, books and postulations, and obviously private experience. During interviews, it was laid out that a portion of these pioneers are presumptuous, despotic, and forceful due to feeling of inadequacy, heredity, and family issues. Unexpectedly, they need to change over scholarly field in the event of the scholarly world or any working environment into a front line. Closer examination has uncovered that there are pioneers who are not conceived pioneers, need initiative and administrative abilities, and there are pioneers who are assuming a liability to be an honor. The consequences of this study propose that for the smooth running of the division/association and to establish a positive workplace, convention ought to be noticed for the consideration of the administration. It was presumed that a portion of these pioneers were made to be pioneers and are not possessing the necessary experience and capabilities according to promoted positions.
