The purpose of this study is to learn how to implement an authentic assessment to enhance students' mathematical problem-solving skills and how to construct an authentic assessment based on its principles and characteristics. The following stages are carried out as part of this study's utilisation of research and development methods: To evaluate the importance of mathematical problem-solving skills, a needs analysis, a literature study, a pre-test, the creation of an authentic evaluation form, a post-test, and a post-test were all conducted. The results of the study show that the stages of developing authentic assessment through a limited validation process and wider validation based on the principles and characteristics of authentic assessment are capable of producing new products, and their use can have an impact on improving students' capacity for solving mathematical problems. The mean pre-test and post-test, as well as the significance value of the t-test findings for interconnected samples of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05, provide information about the impact of applying authentic assessment products that were developed.
