The most salient psychological characteristics of histrionic
personalities, as well as the intricacies of their behaviour and thought in the
condition of social normalcy, are discussed in this work. Histrionic
personalities, like everyone else, aspire to be respected by others, achieve
financial success, and get social recognition. The study focuses on the
histrionic personality who aspires to power and has leadership characteristics.
Psychological defence mechanisms, excessive suppression, typical motivations,
self-esteem, and goals of histrionic personalities, as well as peculiarities of
their conscience, memory, and behaviour in intrapsychic and interpersonal
conflicts, are all detailed. In psychotherapy and everyday life, the author
proposes the most acceptable approaches to connect with these types of
exaggerated personalities.
