Determination of Bioecology of the Syrphidae Family | Chapter 9 | New Visions in Biological Science Vol. 6

The goal of this brief review is to determine the Syrphidae Family's bioecology (Insecta: Diptera). Quantitative features of the Family and Species (taxonomic groups) were studied, as well as conceptual factors such as geographical distribution, species, prey, life cycle, reproduction, Taxonomy, Nomenclature, and pollination. A literature search was conducted for works published between 1969 and 2021. From September to October 2021, the small review was conducted in Goiânia, Goiás, using the Online Scientific Library (Scielo), the internet, ResearchGate, Academia.edu, Frontiers, Publons, Qeios, and the Portal of Scientific Journals in Health Sciences.
