The goal of this study was to use morphometric and bioacoustic characteristics to distinguish two forms of Gaga's chicken, Gallus gallus domesticus, namely the dangdut type and the sluggish type. Twenty samples were taken in Pinrang, South Sulawesi, while the remaining seven were taken in Kebayoran Lama, Southern Jakarta, respectively. In either "slow type" or "dangdut type," the Gaga's chicken body weight was not significantly different from Pinrang and Kebayoran Lama. The "dangdut type" from Pinrang, on the other hand, had a greater neck bone length (P0.05) than Kebayoran Lama. The "dangdut type" has more beats (4-7 times) than the "slow type" according to bioacoustic study (3-5 times).
