A sustainable materials strategy is used in the Framing Hope programme, an innovative corporate and nonprofit sector partnership between the NGO Good360 and The Home Depot. This study calculates the amount of energy used. savings, landfill space not filled, and energy- and landfill-related cost reductions linked with The Home Depot's Good360 product altruism initiative, demonstrating that linkages between environmental, socioeconomic, and energy factors benefit both corporations and communities. According to the findings, significant landfill space, money, and energy savings were gained by shifting products from the waste stream into valuable community resources.
