Surrogacy brings the joy of motherhood to the intended pair, but the irony is that in order to spare one woman from being labelled childless, the surrogate takes on the duty of bearing her child, causing her to be stigmatised by society. Despite the fact that many forms of exploitation have gotten attention, some, such as surrogacy, have gone unnoticed. The field of reproduction is focusing its attention to adoption as a result of the global population and resource shortages. Everyone who chooses surrogacy secretly wishes to have their own DNA, but how does genetic connection differ from humanity? The purpose of this analysis is to provide insight into the surrogacy market's exploitation. Another goal is to highlight how adoption might be a viable alternative to surrogacy.
