Study on Dependence of Diffraction Dissociation Phenomenon in Neutrino Interactions with Nuclei | Chapter 5 | Research Trends and Challenges in Physical Science Vol. 1

 HERA was only able to undertake experiments on the diffraction dissociation phenomenon in photo and electro production with the advent of the electron proton accelerator. We report data on the A-dependence of the diffraction dissociation (DD) phenomenon in muonic neutrino interactions with nuclei at various momentum transfer values. Nikolaev-Zakharov-Zoller calculations were performed using the two-gluon exchange model (NZZ). It is compared to experimental data found in muonic neutrino interactions with photo emulsion nuclei. The ratio of the DD cross section to the deep inelastic cross section is used to illustrate the data.
