Many organisations, such as academic, research, corporate, and government, are now emphasising the concept of e-learning or online learning. However, the manner of e-learning deployment remains a question. Many organisations have created separate IT-based e-learning platforms. A compatible base for e-learning modules is provided by the Digital Library. This article discusses many facets of e-learning, as well as e-learning implementation strategies and the significance of digital libraries in e-learning development.
