Take Steering Control of Your Business with CVA® | Chapter 8 | Current Topics on Business, Economics and Finance Vol. 5

There are many metrics that might be used to steer a business. Professor Sexton suggests that Customer Value Added (CVA®) is a powerful and useful metric for steering control. It consists of the difference between two easy to understand measures, perceived value and cost per unit, which, in turn, determine sales and profits. CVA® has been used in practice by a leading consumer products company.
