Evaluating the CNS Activity of Methanolic Extract of Anogeissus latifolia Leaves on Various Experimental Rat Models | Chapter 12 | Novel Aspects on Pharmaceutical Research Vol. 2

The purpose concerning this study was to judge the muscle arrangement and anxiolytic properties of methanolic extracts of Anogeissus latifolia (combretaceae) in rodent utilizing different models of using rodent. In the research, diazepam served as the standard medication. The extracts were likely orally at two doses of 300 mg and 400 mg/kg. The current study's judgments suggest that Anogeissus latifola leaf methanolic extract is adept in causing a meaningful protection against power coordination and anxiolytic belongings, as demonstrated by various CNS models compared to controls.  It is famous that the Methanolic extract of leaves of Anogeissus latifolia, which is projected as its hypotensive standard. This investigation confirmed the plant's muscle arrangement and anxiolytic properties as used in usual medicine.
