Impact of Application of Road Safety Control Measures by Tracking the Movement of Vehicles on Decreasing Incidents | Chapter 4 | Recent Progress in Science and Technology Vol. 9

 Vehicle accidents are main cause of end of life in most nations. The development in jeep industry has increased to a better extent than before. Action anticipate Traffic management measures (TMM) is wanted to achieve the energetic target for artery safety. Global positioning system (GPS) electronics is used to track the position of the vehicle. Aim of the study search out assess the decline in vehicle occurrence with the request of this electronics compared to premature years (two - years make inquiries study) at Petromaint Company in Alexandria, Egypt. Petromaint vehicle occurrence’ records for the years 2015 and 2016 were corrected and the accidents were analyzed. Also, Pre-devised structured interview inquiry was used to collect dossier from Petromaint drivers. Moreover, by applying the fleet administration strategy, car incidents' records for the age 2017 and 2018 were reviewed. The study displayed that the drivers' age of the occurrence free drivers (AFDs) (80%) have equal main ratios within the age groups of 25- and 35-age, which are 41.7 % each. Concerning the accident operating drivers (APDs), the adulthood (55.6%) is within the group age 45- age followed for one group age 35- years (33.3%) and none of the APDs are inside the group age 25- years. Also, this study shows that the plurality of the drivers are wedded and living alone, (42.4 %) and (66.7%) for AFDs and APDs individually; followed by being wedded and living with kin, (39.4%) and (33.3%) for AFDs and APDs respectively, and none of the APDs is distinct. Moreover, the results indicated that the portion of non-smokers are (72.2 %) and (44.4 %) among the AFDs and the APDs individually. While; the smoking employees smoke cigarettes, shisha or two together and all the hot APDs are regular smokers. Finally; the study explained that ultimate training meetings were presented all along 2017 and 2018 in part of the control measures on lowering vehicle accidents. Petromaint has used a Fleet Management Strategy, providing driving preparation programs by competent trainers, and operating emergency and makeing inquiries room all along 24-hours. This study highlighted the excellent results of decreasing automobile accident at Petromaint to nothing during the age 2017 and 2018 comparing to 2015 and 2016 as a result of the use of vehicle radio detecting and ranging.
