Wearable Technology and Its Application in Education | Chapter 11 | Research Developments in Science and Technology Vol. 6

In this study, we go deeper into the topic of wearable gadgets in education. As a consequence of developments in mobile Internet and hardware technologies, wearable gadget functionality has increased in recent years. It becomes more practical, easier to use, and works better in real time. Many of the same computing activities that can be performed on mobile phones and laptop computers may also be performed on these wearable devices; but, in other cases, wearable technology can entirely outperform traditional hand-held equipment. Wearable technology is more advanced than hand-held technology on the market today because it may provide sensory and scanning features not commonly found in mobile and laptop computers, such as biofeedback and physiological function tracking. So far, wearable gadgets have lacked an aesthetic design. Even the fashion models who were engaged to show off Google Glass failed to make it appear fashionable. Apple has enlisted the help of fashion-forward executives from premium labels like as Burberry and YSL to make its watch more appealing, but it is still unclear if it has broken the cool code.
