School Factors and Support System for Positive Mental Health and Well-Being | Chapter 10 | Selected Topics in Humanities and Social Sciences Vol. 5

Mental health is the cornerstone for an individual's well-being and effective functioning, according to the World Health Organization [1]. Mental health is a state of equilibrium both within and outside of oneself. The complete gamete of a person, which includes their physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and other environmental elements, has an impact on their mental health. Teaching is one of the most stressful occupations, and teachers' mental health is paramount. The majority of teachers approach this problem in their own unique way. This article focuses on variables within the institution that may contribute to teachers' mental health problems and a lack of well-being. Teachers with good 'Mental health' and 'Physical health' will contribute to the kids' and school's well-being. The purpose of this article is to inform school administrators about the various elements that affect teachers' "Mental Health," as well as how teachers and schools can improve the situation in order to achieve teacher well-being. Instructors, like students and parents, are human beings with needs of their own. As they encourage students and parents, teachers will need motivational help from counsellors. A psychological evaluation can objectively examine the institution's "Mental Health" issues and develop well-being criteria. Teachers must strive for ‘Mental Health Well-Being,' which will provide them with renewed energy to pursue their professional goals as well as the overall development of the pupils under their supervision.
