A New Method for Decimal - Binary Conversion: Interpret as Octal - Binary Conversion | Chapter 11 | Current Topics on Mathematics and Computer Science Vol. 7

Normally, people utilise the binary number system instead of the decimal number system when designing digital technology and operating digital machines. Digital technologies employ digital signals to communicate between devices, and digital gadgets work with digital technologies. The importance of decimal to binary conversion arises from this. It would be quite simple to convert a binary number to octal or hexadecimal after converting decimal to binary. To date, the conventional method for converting decimal integers to binary numbers has been division by base-2. This study proposes a new way for performing decimal to binary conversions, in which the conversion is performed using the octal number system. The octal number system aids in the conversion of decimal to octal and octal to binary. To get at the solution for this alternative new strategy, researchers conducted literature reviews, comparisons, analyses, and evaluations. This method is dependable and adaptable for usage in education, learning, and programming.
