A rapid method for one-pot synthesis of Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2NPs) within a few minutes has been studied in the current approach, treatment and optimization of a non-traditional heating technique. The prepared TiO2 NPs are submitted using microwave irradiation for innovative treatment. The effect of TiO2 NPs prepared using microwave irradiation has been studied, as has the conventional method of dyeing cotton fabric with acid dye. Through transmission electron microscopy ( TEM), TiO2 NPs were examined. The effects of TiO2 NPs on cotton fibres' multifunctional properties, including coloration, antibacterial , and anti-UV, were assessed. The overall results show that by using microwave heating, the TiO2 NPs are successfully prepared by microwave heating. saving time and energy. The treated fabrics by prepared TiO2 NPs exhibited excellent colorfastness as well as strong antibacterial and anti-UV properties when compared to the untreated fabrics, the method adopted for manufacturing these multifunctional fabrics is, besides time and energy saving, environmentally friendly.
