Study of Anatomy from a Surgical Perspective | Chapter 13 | Current Progress in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 2

The aim concerning this study was to judge any difference in the level of information of anatomy between first year MBBS juniors when taught only by Anatomist; only by Clinician and by both anatomist and psychologist. In addition, the students’ understanding regarding the education method was estimated utilizing a structured inquiry. In medical instruction, basic sciences are part of dispassionate sciences and clinical sciences are a minor role of the basic sciences. It is an definite reality that knowledge of Clinical Anatomy is main in practice. Anatomy endure be taught and well-informed in a way that makes it therapeutically appropriate and is connected to the ability required for new healing graduates, according to a widely held faith. The approach of a classical fundamental perspective is very various from a surgical perspective as in a surgical procedure, a narrow incision is created and structures are viewed. A study was transported on 45 medical graduates admitted to the first MBBS course in the period 2014 at K. J.Somaiya Medical College. Our study confirmed the fact that the group instructed by both anatomist and psychologist fared better than the added two groups. Anatomists and clinicians should identify center anatomical information in a clinical framework. They should set some plan on an anatomy syllabus which they feel some independent medical practitioner must be familiar with.
