Mosaic as an Element of the Synthesis of Architecture and Monumental Art in the Architecture of Volgograd and Volzhsky: An Advanced Research | Chapter 06 | Novel Perspectives of Engineering Research Vol. 1

 In this article, all of the existing and destroyed mosaics on public and residential buildings in Volgograd and Volzhsky are examined. The topics of mosaic typology and stylistics are also discussed. The classification of mosaic composition features has been completed. The author attempts to summarise and scientifically comprehend the major artists' work in Volgograd. Archival and outside pictures are used to support the article. Many city mosaics have been lost or severely damaged. As a result, it is critical to research and conserve monumental art, as well as to perform urgent repair work when necessary.
