The purpose of this chapter was to concentrate on developing a conceptual understanding and insight into the role of academic stress in relation to psychological issues. The COVID-19 has added to the academic load on adolescents, as well as parental pressure and expectations, leading to dramatic actions such as suicide attempts and suicides, with the majority of them suffering from despair and anxiety. Various studies have backed this up, reporting an alarming number of youngsters who are unable to cope with the stressors they confront at school and who are unable to meet their parents' expectations. In addition, the epidemic has become one of the antecedents to the same by denying teenagers adequate space to cope with school and parental expectations. These difficulties demand immediate attention and focus, hence the current chapter focuses on scholastic stress and coping mechanisms among adolescents during the Covid-19 outbreak in India. The chapter suggests feasible strategies and recommendations for providing the child with a healthy and fruitful environment, as well as for parents, in order to combat such venerable effects faced by youth.
