Counselling for Down Syndrome, are We Doing it Right? | Chapter 06 | Recent Developments in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 7

 Down syndrome is the most common genetic abnormality, affecting around 1 in every 700 babies born. Cardiac, learning issues, gastrointestinal, endocrine, and haematological conditions are all linked to DS. Parents must be educated about the condition in order to ensure their children's long-term well-being.

We will explore the guidelines for counselling and review the literature of studies on the quality of counselling in Down Syndrome in this post.
