Down syndrome is the most common genetic abnormality, affecting around 1 in every 700 babies born. Cardiac, learning issues, gastrointestinal, endocrine, and haematological conditions are all linked to DS. Parents must be educated about the condition in order to ensure their children's long-term well-being.
