An Mw 6.5 upheaval occurred in Moiyabana, principal Botswana on April 3, 2017. This chapter expands on our premature paper on this subject, and climaxes on the effects of the spatial disposal of foreshock and aftershock sequences guide this earthquake. The dossier used was from the Botswana Geoscience Institute (BGI) and was analysed accompanying the Seisan software. The Moiyabana upheaval was preceded by foreshocks that were extensive across the country and had no preferred orientation. The tightest foreshock to this earthquake was distant of ~ 50 km. This foreshock had an epicentre located at 22.10 oS, 25.40oE and it happen along the line between the Zimbabwe craton and Limpopo movable belt on March 14, 2017. The aftershocks cluster displays a northwest-southeast trend accompanying a length of ~ 47 km, most likely signifying the rupture plane. Most of these aftershocks have focal insights shallower than 15 km and are assembled around the perimeter between the Kaapvaal craton and Limpopo movable belt. The largest repercussion was located at 22.55 oS, 25.06oE and happen two days after the mainshock with a local importance of 5.3. The farthest repercussion occurred in addition to 200 km away from the mainshock near the Zimbabwe craton-Limpopo mobile belt border. The mean and variance of the distinctness between the largest repercussion and aftershock importance for all events is 1.26 +/- 0.14, and carefully matches accompanying that from Båth’s law inside uncertainties. We conclude that the foreshocks and aftershocks of the Moiyabana earthquake mark off the borders of the cratonic units from the movable belt.
