The Social and Solidarity Economy in Algeria: An Overview | Chapter 12 | New Innovations in Economics, Business and Management Vol. 2

 The mutualist and solidarity foundations and traditions of Algeria's many regions underpin the social and solidarity economy. Despite the fact that it has grown into a significant economic force. In addition to becoming an important economic participant, the social and solidarity economy has become a source of employment. Companies in the social and solidarity economy are economically and socially innovative. Finally, these businesses provide the necessary increase of economic activity in the regions. As a result, they aid in the betterment of decision centre distribution across the regions. The conclusions of this little study are summarised as follows: It is critical to activate old practises and embrace modern methods in order for Algeria to embody the social and solidarity economy (ESS).
