Surgical Management of Recurrent Laryngeal Glomus: A Case Report | Chapter 1 | Recent Developments in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 11

 Paragangliomas are benign tumours that develop from neural crest cells and can appear anywhere in the body. The larynx is a rare location for these benign tumours. Despite the fact that most laryngeal lesions are treated endoscopically, histological investigation may reveal a surprise lesion such as paraganglioma, which is prone to recurrence. An open non-endoscopic technique was used to treat a recurrent instance of this type.
