Study about Empowering Clinicians with Lifestyle Changes for Management of Diabetes | Chapter 04 | Recent Developments in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 7

The goal of this study was to see how Neurobics and Sanskar Remodeling affected diabetic control.

The interventional, nonrandomised before and post study was carried out at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Wardha, in the Department of Physiology. The study lasted a year and comprised diabetic patients of both sexes, ranging in age from 15 to 90 years old. Only 63 of the 210 participants that were enrolled in the trial were eligible.

The control group consisted of 57 people who were randomly selected from the general public.

Blood sugar and WHO-QOL were monitored in both groups.

The study group's BMI, FBS, and PPBS all decreased statistically significantly between the before and post test outcomes. The four domains were investigated using the WHO-QOL-Bref instrument. The intervention used for the study group resulted in improvements in all four domains, according to the findings.

Conclusion: The study concludes that lifestyle modification programmes like Neurobics and Sanskar Remodelling, which were used in this study, can be used in conjunction with standard diabetes medications to manage diabetes.
