Pediatric Liver Transplantation: A Clinical Review | Chapter 16 | Recent Developments in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 3

End-stage liver disease and fulminant hepatic failure are both treated with liver transplantation. Patients with End-Stage Liver Disease have seen a considerable improvement in their prognosis. The juvenile liver transplantation and its related therapies are described in this clinical evaluation. Donating a living organ is a difficult decision for the donor and his or her family. A good donor is mentally, physically, and psychologically well. The goal of donor evaluation is to determine whether or not a donor is suitable for donation and to uncover any concealed medical conditions in him or her. It gives the child and family a ray of hope and the chance to live a long and healthy life.
