Primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) is an endocrinological condition characterised by elevated parathormone (PTH) levels and calcium levels. In the adult population, it is the most frequent kind of hypercalcemia. The disease's prevalence is gradually increasing, and its diagnosis and treatment are improving. The purpose of this article is to look at how to approach the disease's current diagnosis, therapy, and follow-up.
