A 16-year-old boy who suffered a gunshot injury to his upper left side of the chest that resulted in an injury to the left axillary artery was registered and treated with endovascular repair. In critically ill trauma patients, endovascular repair has been increasingly accepted for haemorrhage management; the use of covered endovascular stents offers an alternative modality for both haemorrhage prevention and flow protection. In our case, through the implementation of endovascular procedures, a proper stable repair of axillary artery damage was achieved, and the stent was successfully used with normal vascularity for as long as 6 years after the operation.
