We may wonder how it is possible to apply OSPE (objective structured practical examination), OSVE (objective structured viva examination) and OSCE (objective structured clinical examination) in Anatomy. These are the different evaluation approaches which are focused on objectivity. These approaches are accepted internationally and are applied worldwide because they carry out impartial assessment of students in clinical and para-clinical subjects. There is an immense scope of human anatomy to test the cognitive and psychomotor fields of students. The use of OSPE, OSVE and OSCE in various branches of anatomy will allow us to evaluate students effectively and at a satisfactory level. To evaluate the skills and knowledge of 1st M.B.B.S students, OSPE can be applied in microanatomy, OSVE in table viva, and OSCE in living anatomy. In the present chapter, students were introduced to two evaluation methods in microanatomy (spots with unstructured viva and OSPE-objective organised practical examination) for a routine evaluation process. In the form of a questionnaire, feedback was taken and statistical analysis was performed. The outcome shows that objective organised practical research increases objectivity and decreases subjectivity relative to traditional viva.
