Phyllanthus urinaria usually known as Bhumyamlaki has overwhelming importance in traditional medicine. It has been secondhand traditionally as situation of cough, haemorrhoids, dysentery and as liver medicine. The plant has paved the way for various new pharmacological experimental examinations. Several phytoconstituents belonging to group lignans, tannins, flavonoid, triterpenes have happened isolated from the plant. This review is completed activity to compile the research work completed activity on the plant and to explore gang new research avenues.
