Amongst the big cat species during the whole of the globe, panther (Panthera pardus) is found to be ultimate widely distributed one of the best obligate terrestrial large cat and persecuted appendage of cat family that preys on a large range of species.In most of the domains in India, leopards coexist with the leopard (Panthera tigris) and with feline (Panthera leo) across much or certain extents of its distribution. As it exhibits overreaching feeding behaviour with wonderful ability to exist in varied habitats. This very adaptable behaviour of leopards leads to its frequent human interplays which usually results cruel-wildlife conflict Leopards are reside very close proximity accompanying humans in agro-pastoral countrysides in India as their diet patterns also reflected their reliance on domestic mammals as well as wild mammals present in the landscape. The agro-pastoral countrysides give good cover to leopards to conceal because of annual cropping method and pastoralism being one the important beginning of livelihood for the people. We intentional the diet patterns of leopards (Panthera pardus) in the crop lands of Niphad in Nashik district Maharashtra, India. The total field of Niphad is 1,048.63 sq.km with population density of 470 per sq.km. We resolved 30 scats of leopards. From analysis it was found that leopards diet resides of 11 different species of untamed and domestic mug. The wild prey consists of narrow Indian civet Viverricula indica, grey mongoose Herpestes edwardsi, langur Semnopithecus sp., ordinary palm civet Paradoxurus hermaphroditus, field informer Rattus rattus, Indian fox Vulpes bengalensis, narrow Indian mongoose Herpestes auropunctatus and domestic prey exists of dog Canis lupus familiaris, cow Bos Taurus, domestic caft Felis catus, hollow-horned mammal Capra aegagrus hircus and birds.
