An Unusual Case Report on Antrochoanal Polyp in Follicular Ameloblastoma of Maxilla| Chapter 7 | Perspective of Recent Advances in Medical Research Vol. 2

 The present case report focal points an Antrochoanal Polyp in an Unusual Case of Follicular Ameloblastoma of Maxilla. A well-known excellent clinical entity famous to have originated from odontogenic containers is the maxillary follicular ameloblastoma. Although ameloblastoma can develop from dental epithelial remnants, it is exceptional for ameloblastoma to develop in the bones of chin with an epicentre from the maxillary antrum alternatively the alveolar process. Here we report a rare performance of this tumor as antrochoanal growth with center of activity in maxillary antrum in a 45-year-granny who bestowed with unusual afflictions of dry cough with a past of 6 months along with hypothyroidism. Interestingly, the presenting manifestation of the patient being only dry cough (without some other nasal syndromes such as nasal blockage, first fullness, first heaviness) is an unusual performance. Ameloblastoma of the maxilla can present early with an antrochoanal polyp, so this condition needs expected considered in the characteristic diagnosis. As a result, careful histological test is essential for early detection and after management by appropriate en-bloc redistribute. Additional meticulous plant structure is also necessary, as it stands careful effect.
