A Systematic Review on the Comparison of Tissue Substitutes with Subepithelial Connective Tissue Graft in Root Coverage| Chapter 2 | Perspective of Recent Advances in Medical Research Vol. 2

This stage aims to evaluate the productiveness of soft tissue substitutes that is to say Acellular dermal matrix (ADM), Collagen forge (CM) and Titanium-prepared platelet-rich fibrin (T-PRF) in comparison to subepithelial combinational tissue graft (SECTG) by tunnel or reduced coronally advanced tunnel technique (MCAT) in root inclusion.A literature review on the influence of soft fabric substitutes in comparison to SECTG by tunnel technique or changed coronally advanced tunnel method for root coverage procedures was administered using MEDLINE, PubMed, Cochrane book repositories, EMBASE, and hand hunted for journals from January 1999 to August 2020.For the qualitative synthesis, seven studies were contained. SECTG, ADM, and T-PRF were found expected more effective for complete/partial root inclusion. According to Miller's classification, this was the basic outcome. When secondary effects were considered, SECTG acted better. For root coverage, the dispassionate efficacy of SECTG appeared expected higher in tunnel or changed coronally advanced tunnel techniques. As a result, SECTG concede possibility be a better option than added substitutes.
