Gasdynamic Elements of Dispersive Medium | Book Publisher International

Aspects of motion theory for the continuous gaseous medium are presented with a substantial influence of dispersion effects related to the microstructure of the medium or to the presence of electromagnetic or gravitational fields of internal force. The precise stationary solutions of non-linear equations are studied in detail in the vicinity of transition fronts and in the form of solitary waves: "classical" and "particle-like" solitons. Various gasdynamic models are seen, beginning with the acoustic relativity theory and the supercritical analog of the special relativity theory up to the Newtonian dark matter and microstructural turbulence model. A number of examples taken from gas dynamics and physics demonstrate typical conformities of the investigated processes.
